***** This is a PDF pattern, not a finished product*****

Skill level: Confident beginner/intermediate
A knowledge of applying binding would be useful but not essential as I provide detailed instructions on how to do this.

These useful storage tubs are perfect for organising your workspace, desk or dressing table. They come in three different sizes, which nest together beautifully. A great way to use up all your scraps and incredibly fun to make. They make the perfect last minute gifts for friends and family.

Finished size (approximately): Small: 4 ½'' width, 3 ¼'' height
Medium: 5 ¾'' width, 4 ¼'' height
Large: 7'' width, 5 ¼ '' height

You will receive 9 pages of step by step instructions with helpful tips, diagrams, photo's and templates. All the measurements you need to make plain tubs if patchwork isn't your thing and I have also added a new section on how to make stripey tubs!

You will need:

- Scraps of different cotton printed fabrics (1 ½'' height and 2'' - 4'' width) or selvedges for the exterior.

- Printed cotton fabric for the lining (fat quarter-half metre depending on the size of your tub) and binding.

- Plain neutral cotton fabric to stitch the patchwork to.

- Essex linen or cotton fabric for the exterior base.

- Medium weight fusible interfacing to back the exterior base fabric (woven or non-woven).

- Foam stabilizer for the sides of the tub (Bosal-In-R form sew-in foam stabilizer, Soft and Stable by Annie, Pellon Flex-Foam or Vlieseline Style-Vil).

- Heavy-weight stabilizer for the base. I use Peltex Single-sided Fusible Stabiliser Pellon (71F), which is very rigid. It also works with non fusible variety or if you can't get hold of stabilizer,
thick, stiff card will do the job.
